OpenOffice.org:mac 1.0 for WWDC

I've recently contacted one of the main developers of the Mac version of OpenOffice.org.

He gave me the latest news on the development status and I've posted an article about that HERE.
 
Wow.

That would definately be awesome. The more i use MS office, the more i want to stab my eyes out.

We use Open Office here on a linux box where i work to recover lost files on bad disks for students....works WAYY better then using M$ office.
 
Wow sounds like they're making great progress. I like the X11 version but it does get in the way a bit. Their efforts are well worth it!
