Openstep

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about OpenStep on the Mac.

First, I saw once in one of the forum on this site, that by executing a certain command and then log out and in again, one would get the OpenStep GUI instead of Aqua. I don't remember this command, so if someone here could give it to me I would greatly apreciate it. Also I would like the command to bring back Aqua.

Secondly I would like to know if, by executing this command, I get the OpenStep desktop or just a look-alike?

I think what you are talking about is the hack that you could preform on some of the pre-Public Beta releases of OS X Client to get it to default back to the OS X Server 1.2 GUI. Basically you would just remove the resource file for Aqua and it would revert most of the GUI back, but it also made things behave oddly and some apps would crash.

Its also not available on OS X anymore. I belive they fixed it with the Public Beta.
