I'm running 10.4 on a mac titanium notebook trying to hook up an HP4550 using ethernet. I've downloaded the latest drivers for the HP4550 and installed the printer using the "Add Printer" utility in the System Preferences. I've identified the HP printer with the IP address. But when I go to print the Mac cannot connect to the printer. What am I doing wrong?
Have I left out a step?
