os 9.0.4 versus 9.1 and classic on os 10.3.9

I have just upgraded an imac from 9.04 to 9.1 but now can't run accounting software MYOB which I need urgently.
Can I reinstall 9.04 I have v9 discs?
I also have a G3 with 10.3.9 running but classic is not installed, I have 10.3.5 discs. Would installing classic solve compatibility problems and if so how do I do it?
What are my best options for getting os9 compatible software working again on either computer?

You should not have a software-compatibility issue with MacOS 9.1. Its primary purpose was compatibility with the newest Macs of the era and with MacOS X. Afterall, this is the OS which shipped in the box with MacOS X 10.0. If you are having compatibility issues with it, then you need to look at the other third-party extensions that you installed during that tiime frame.
