Os 9 + Os 10

I've partitioned my hard drive into OS 10.3.9 and OS 9.2.2. I have a lot of fonts installed in OS 9, can these be used in OS 10? And how do I do it?

Another thing, how can I use my email in OS 10? Because some emails come to my OS 10 email box, and the rest go to OS 9... WHY?! And how can I change this? I'm trying to move everything to OS 10.

If you have 9.2.2 activated as OS X' Classic environment, font managers like Extensis Suitcase (or whatever it's called these days...) can activate the same fonts for OS X' use and vice versa. It's quite cool, actually - but not free.

E-Mail: Yeah, set up all your E-Mail accounts on OS X' Mail.app and never use another application again, then everything should only go there...
 
Both Operating Systems are separately installed and I don't use classic. Infact, I can't even open classic because of the way I've installed them.
 
If you wanted access to classic for OS X just copy the system folder to the other partition...

As for fonts, get http://www.linotype.com/FontExplorerX. It's a free app. Store your user fonts outside of the System/Library/Fonts folder; put them in a folder labeled MY FONTS or the like. I find separating them keeps things organized, and you then don't have to load all your fonts everytime you boot up your computer.
 
What version of OS 9 are you using?

I didn't think there was any way to set up OS 9 so that it couldn't be used with Classic — not with 9.1 or later, anyway. I always had them on separate partitions, and Classic always worked just fine. I used the same system I used pre-X with Classic. I could even plug in drives I used to boot other machines and use their OS 9 System Folders with Classic. Just point OS X to the appropriate System Folder in the Classic preference pane and you should be golden.

As for the email question, I'm guessing you have both your 9 and X email clients set to delete the messages from the server after retrieving them. That means any message you retrieve in one will be deleted from the server before the other gets the chance to see it. The solution is to set your email clients to leave your messages on the server for a certainl amount of time. In OS X Mail, this option is located in Preferences > Accounts > Advanced.
