I have a 2008 Mac Pro with 10.6.5, and a wireless Mac keyboard. I am able to map the capslock key as a control key using the keyboard preferences dialog. However, after a user switch or reboot, the keyboard preferences are reset to the default caps lock function.
What's happening? I believe this started shortly after the upgrade to 10.6. Any suggestions regarding what is causing the problem, and what is the fix? I can't imagine I'm the only one with this problem, but in my searching, I have not been able to find a solution.
