How about installing another hard drive in my MAC (G4) so I could have 1 hard drive for OS 9.22 and the other for OS X.2? My current hard drive is only 20 GB and this may not be big enough to partition (and have enough space on the both).
Using a separate HD for each OS is an excellent idea. When I used classic, that is what I did. It is easy to do and install. I have three HD in my G4. All work flawless.
