Resent switcher. Have 2 year old Oki 5100 Color Laser Printer. Cannot find driver for my "non Intel infused" G5. Oki offers little help.
Some stuff to note:
Because I'm an idiot, I thought maybe someone had designed some type of Magic Universal Driver(not meant to refer to Intel compatibility) and bridge this troublesome gap.
I do have an older Dell laptop laying around with Win98. Could I add that to my network and "share" through it?
Looked at DAVE(from another post) and it may be more than I need?
Worth trying to get it to work with Airport Express?
There is another model Oki printer called the 5100n (meaning network ready) this is not mine.
Would a newer G5 w/Intel allow this more easily? At all?
Running Mac OS X.
I'm willing to spend a few bucks to make this work. The printer is out of date now, but it has $400 in toner sitting inside it and prints good stuff.
Thanks everyone.
