OS X losing Display Profile

I have a new G4 867 that I fired up for the first time yesterday. It is the default setup from Apple, dual boot with OS 9.2 and 10.1. I am using a 19" Trinitron monitor, CPD-4201M. OS 9.2 has no problem at all displaying it in 1152x870. When I boot into 10.1, the System Preferences/Display shows it as CPD-4201M. If I restart the system in 10.1, it loses that display profile, and will only allow 800x600. The only way I can get it back is to resart into 9.2 and then into 10.1. I can reproduce this every time. Anyone else seen this before? I called Apple Support that the higher level support guy is going to look into it and get back to me, since he couldn't figure anything out at the moment. I figured maybe someone here has seen this before.

Thanks.

Thanks, but I don't think so. The problem is that when restarting OS X, the Display Profile in System Preferences/Display/Color is completely gone. the title bar says Unknown Display or Monitor. As many time as I restart OS X, the same problem is there. Only if I restart into 9.2.1 and then restart back into OS X will it restore the profile.
