[Moderator: Apologies if this belongs in "Networking"].
I am trying to send a 7.7 MB zip file using OS Mail (latest version) and Comcast. Mail presents and error box saying that my attachment is 10.1 MB large. (Finder says it is 7.7 mb max.)
Comcast speculates that OS X Mail is adding 3 MB of encryption/compression to my attachment. I should use Outlook or Entourage (!).
Apple Store staff suggested changing encoding option in Mail but had no clue where it was. I did try "Windows friendly attachment" option but to no avail. My firstborn to anyone who can help me. Thanks.
