I've been running a network using 2 macs, one running System 9 & the other running OS X 10.4, until recently everything has been running fine, but now when I to connect from my OS 9 mac to the OS X mac & try to copy something across the network I get the messages "The File Server connection has unexpectedly closed down" & it lists the date & time of the close down, I also get the message. Then I also get the message "The selected files can no longer be copied because the server has closed down".
I have been running this network for over 3 years now without a single error then suddenly out of the blue this happens, i think it must be a System 9 error as when I'm running both computers in OS X the network works fine.
This problem is a real pain as I have to regularly copy large photoshop files from one to the other & am currently having to copy them to & from using zip disks, any help with this problem would be a real godsend.
