OSX and VPN

Just a question about vpn using OSX, can you connect OSX to any windows hardware or corporate networking devices using mac and its internet connect VPN utility? I'm just wondering if I should switch the office I manage to mac desktops for a more reliable platform for research and dev.

I connect to my Win-based VPN on a regular basis. No problems. I often choose to do so in my WinXP virtual machine in order to use Outlook's calendaring integration, etc. but if I don't need that feature, I'll usually just connect via the Mac itself.
