I just had the power go out in my office and when I restarted Safari my homepage wouldn't load (my homepage in safari is a local file on a separate partition than the OS). It also wouldn't load in firefox. I located the file that should be loading (which safari said it couldn't find), dragged it into safari and it added a "%201" (space 1) after the name of the partition in the file path. I am totally baffled. The only thing I can think of is that when OSX duplicates something, it sometimes puts a space and a 1 behind the duplicate name. This is basically what has happened to my partition, though I can't see it anywhere. I even renamed my partition.
