Hi,

Don't know if anyone else found this but check it out!

goto usr/share/emacs/20.7/etc/

Open the COOKIES file in a text editor.

ENJOY;)

Well, it's nice to have a nice recipe to try... but why the hell is this crap that I didn't ask for on my hard disk? Is Mac OS X 10.2 going to come with a recipe from Kentucky Fried Chicken?!?

Don't get upset, guys.
This is one of several demo-scripts in Emacs. There is also an Eliza-like psychologist program and a towers of Hanoi game in there. These are part of the Emacs package so they had to be included, though they originate in the open-source unix world, not with Apple. Emacs is a popular editor with many Unix administrators and leaving it out would have been a mistake.
And they occupy about as much space as ten-seconds of MP3 sound, so who cares?

Alright, alright, I'll let this one go. Afterall, I should expect some silliness from something that is open-source. Although my favorite system tidbit is still the Iguana flag of Mac OS 7.5.3...

If you are upset about 8KB, I better don't tell you that there is a testfile in the OS X filestructure which occupies several thousand terabytes ;)

At least virtually, it's a test file for file adressing, and there is no way to see how large it actually is, it shows up with some thousand terabytes, even in Terminal ls-lists ;)

Am I missing something here?? Where on my computer do I go to find this stuff?? I searched for "Cookie" in Sherlock but I could not find anything.
