I have some problems with ftp connections with finder. Alomst half the sites I try will not let me download or connect at all, and if I can download most of the time my computer freeze or the downloaded file is corrupted.
When the computer freeze I cannot even use the dock. The only way for me is then to take out my network connection (!).. I don`t think there is a problem with the sites I try to download from, since I`ve tried from various sources and even from my own freeBSD 5.1 server without luck.
