OSX Mail Server

Can anyone help me with a little information please. Before I buy a copy of OSX Server. I need to know that it's mail server can handle the way our mail is set up at the moment. Firstly we have 8 different domains. At the moment there are separate mailboxes for each one of these set up on our ISPs server. Any mail sent to any of our domains is put in it's corresponding folder on the ISP's server. Our mail server dials out to our ISP and logs on to each one of these "mailboxes" in turn and retrieves any mail in these mailboxes. Our server then sends each mail message to the corresponding users mailbox on our server to be picked up by the users mail application - Outlook Express in this case. Is there a way of setting up OSX Mail server to dial out and retrieve mail in this way? I would be very grateful with any help I can get on this.

I use OSX server to do almost the same thing.

We have 3 domain names with our ISP and all mail is held on their server. I use mail.app to download the mail from our ISP via POP3. Our OSX server has users set up for each employee with mail enabled. I have also set up IMAP accounts for each employee in mail.app. Then I set up rules so when the mailis downloaded, a copy of each users mail is sent to their mailbox (i.e "name@donainname.com" cets copied to account "name". Then each employee uses any mail application to get their mail from the OSX server via POP.
I set the rules to COPY and NOT MOVE the mail into the correct mailbox because if mail is addressed to more than one of your users, it will move to the first users mailbox only. I also added the header "Received" to the headers list, this takes care of any "CC" and "BCC" messages that will otherwise be ignored by the rules (ie; rule = If any "received" contains "name@domainname.com" copy message to mailbox "name")
It works fine for us. We have about 15 employees all getting about 10 to 30 mails a day, each.
PM me if you have any questions
