Hi i have a beige G3 rated at 266Mhz and i have overclocked it with hardware jumpers to 333 but is this the same proc used in the beige G3 233/300 series just with different multipliers? Has anyone else attempted this is seems to run fine at 333 but i want to maybe get it up to 366(with a 5.5x multiplier and 66Mhz bus) or 375(5x multiplier and a 75 mhz bus) i dont know if it will run stabily at 366Mhz and i dont really want to fry this processor maybe a video card fan could be mounted on the heatsink...or i could get a fan(60mm i think) to fit the mounts in the upper drive bays maybe get some airflow going in the case. hmmmm.....

btw im also considering replacing the stock cdrom drive with a cd-rw but what is the compatibility as far as cd-rw's go with OS X, i would probably have to create a device profile right?

I had a Beige G3/300 DT that I overclocked to 333. I got video artifacts at 366. xlr8yourmac.com is the source for checking compatibility and how-to on drives, but I had a Lite-On 12x10x32x CD-RW in it that was fully supported by iTunes, Finder and Toast, all in Jaguar.
