Page Down

Silly question about the new macbook pro.

On my powerbook I could hit cmd+down arrow to page down. On the new macbook this jumps to the bottom of the page.

How can I simply page down? I use this a lot when reading webpages or scrolling through documents.

I'm sure it's simple, just not sure where to look.

Thanks for your help!

For browsers the space bar usually works. Shift space goes up.

Something like QuicKeys will allow you to define the keys as you wish, you also may be able to define them in Keyboard preferences.

I'm running 10.4.11 and have tested the Page Up and Page Down keys on my iMac G5s keyboard and they work as their supposed to in Firefox, Camino, and even Safari. Not sure about the MacBook Pro, but it should be the same as in the PowerBook. Check to make sure whether or not you might have to use the Fn key to activate Page Up and Page Down.

That was easy enough, it's the function key! Thanks!

The macbook pro doesn't have a page down key labeled on the keyboard. Or, at least the Japanese keyboard model doesn't.
