Pair apple wireless keyboard with iMac & iPad?

I would like to know if I can pair the Apple Wireless Keyboard which came with my iMac to BOTH my iMac and my iPad WITHOUT having to redo the pairing.

Is this possible, or is the keyboard only pairable with 1 device at a time and pairing it to a new device wipes out the key exchange from the previous pairing?

Unfortunately, there is no way to pair the keyboard with more than one device. You would have to un-pair and re-pair every time you want to use it with a different device.
