Palm suddenly stopped syncing

Hey guys, this morning my m505 synced with 10.2 fine, this afternoon, it doesn't.

When I push hotsync on the cradle I get no reaction from my ibook.

Now I am going to try redownloading the hotsync manager and the conduit thinger, but this is really strange. Has this happened to anyone else before?

Yeah I tried both of those actually.

This morning, I tried to start up the Palm Desktop, just to make sure you know.

And my alias wasn't functioning right. Then I tried to go into applications and start it from the source, and it wouldm't start up.

I'm going to download and reinstall Palm Desktop now.

I tried to do that last night, but it was giving errors that I didn't have the rights to do the installation. It didn't op up and ask for my admin password to proceed with the install either though, which is weird.

This is what I need.

[UPDATE]

Yeah this is so weird. Whenever I try to install it I get these, error, access denied messages... What gives?
Hard drive space is no problem... Security rules are set right in the OS Prefs...

Maybe something is whacked with the Japanese version. Going to install the US version of Palm Desktop and try installing that.

When trying to install the English version is staid that it needed to repair permissions before installation. Going to take a step back, and use Disk Utility to repair permissions before trying to install the Japanese version of Palm Desktop again.

Don't you just love this playbyplay?

sadly after fixing permissions the Japanese Desktop install still didnt go thru. Going to reboot and try again.

Crap. The US Install of Palm Desktop went fine... but I can't use that as it doesn't display Japanese characters correctly. I wonder what is going on with the Japanese install...

Code:
Crazy. ディスクエラー(アクセスが拒否されました)が発生しました。
Disk Error. Access was denied.

What. The heck.

This is my problem!!

I was finally able to get Palm Desktop RE-installed by installing as root... but just going into NetInfo in Untilities wasn't enough... When I tried to enable root, it prompted me for the password, but nothing was enabled... Like this.

So, I took advice on the page and downloaded Pseudo.
