Palm TX sync with OS 10.4

Hello all,

I just got a Palm TX, and want to get it syncing with my Powerbook G4 with OS 10.4.

The CD that the device comes with does not include software for Mac, but I'm sure it's possible...

Has anyone set this up before? Could you point me to any instructions?

Previously I was synching a Palm m500 with the same PC, so I figured I could just plug in the TX and hit sync, and it would use the same profile as the m500... but no go.

Any help appreciated!

You could head to Palm's website and download the Palm Desktop for the Macintosh. They should have a version for your Palm that's for the Mac.

My wife had problems with her T5. Not sure of the details but she now successfully uses "Missing Sync for Mac"

Actually, there is no version of Palm Desktop for Mac 10.4!

Also, to put more detail in my issue..

Step1.
Set up Blue Tooth as perscribed in the support site here.

No trouble there.

Step 2.
Press hot sync button on PDA.
PDA goes to "preparing"
PDA goes to "connecting"
PDA Reboots!

[FINISH]

This all happens very quickly.

It seems that someone else in the forums is having the same trouble.

When I try to sync via USB, the device tries and tries and eventually times out.

Any help appreciated!
