Panther doesn't recognise my Peerless!

... yes it's really me!
My peerless (20GB) is fine with 10.2.8. But Panther is being really stubborn ... I can get it to recognise Peerless through calling up Iomegaware and changing my password ... but without this, it doesn't seem to want to know!

Incidentally, I have the latest Iomega driver installed (but I notice that this is only advertised as relevant up to 10.2.2 or something similar).

Can anyone advise?

hmm...maybe it's a problem with the driver. I'd wait a little bit and see if iomega releases a newer driver for Panther. That would be one suggestion. Another suggestion would be to try a clean install of Panther if you haven't already. If you upgraded from 10.2.8 to 10.3 then i'd try to either archive and install or just wipe the hdd clean and install 10.3 from scratch. :)

Thanks for that - I sort of guessed that perhaps the driver might not be appropriate, but ..... reinstalling clean ..... mmmm ..... !
