Advice needed
I want to install Mandrake Linux 9.1 on my system. I
have two 80 gig hdd's. One has about 50 gig on it..it
is for video and just about any multimedia files. The
other has about 15 gig on it...it' the OS and program
installation drive.
I was thinking about using Carbon Copy Cloner to clone
the system drive to the other one...partition my
system drive, replace all my cloned items and then
install linux on the other partition. Anyway, that's
what I am thinking about doing. Does anyone have any
suggestions regarding this?
Also, would the temporary CCC'd system on the other
drive be bootable and usable in the interim? This is
very important. If I knock the system down, my wife
will KILL me. I don't want to die!
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Eddie
