My mac user account is configured to work in my work place through the active-directory. Of course part of the work policies is to have the computer screen locked and password protected.
When i'm not connected, or connected to the work network, everything works nice and validating the password take a second.
When i'm connected at home to my local ISP the password process can take 1-2 minutes! if I understand what's going on, i guess it tries to access the active-directory and the timeout is very long because he checks the local password file...
Is there a way to control that timeout?
Thanks,
Shay.
