Hi All,
Just picked up a old PB G4 Aluminum, Model A1010. Having some hard drive issues. The PB had no internal hard drive cable when I bought it. Booted to cd fine I can go to disk utility and plug the hard drive in externally and finds the hard drive. But it will not let me formate it with the PB Install disk, I can format it with my 10.4 disk. Bought a internal cable put the 10.4 formated disk in and it will not find a disk, just a grey screen. I'm going to delete the partition on a PC and start over. I wonder if this disk is not compatable with my PB. It is not the origanal. This it what the HD says on it.

Does anyone know what HD's are compatable with the PB.
