sumthins up with the screen on my powerbook, it doesnt seem to be hardware as when i log out and in under someone elses name it displays fine
Basically what happened was i was working away on MS Word, Fire and possibly safari were open at the same time when my screen just flashed that aqua blue colour for a sec then desktop came back up except all the colours seemed to be inverted. I thought initialy it could be hardware so to test i loged out but the log in window and other users desktop were fine all colours and resolutions were normal. I loged back in as me and same thing, the screen came up exactly as before all inverted and stuff... i went to the drop down displays menu, i noticed the resolution was set to 256 which it never is, so changed that back to millions thinking that it 'might' have something to do with it, but it didnt except that the images went from basicaly being inverted black&white to having some neon highlights aswell
It isnt anykind of mod or customisation, as i didnt put it on and nobody else realy uses my computer.
Any ideas on how to fix this, id prefer to know why it did this rather than just scrapping the account and moving all my files into a new account.
I dont know if the images will display as i cant check them on my display
