PB G4 and panasonic tv

I've experiencing following problem since i bought my Titanium.

I've got a Panasonic TV ( TX-28LK1F/S). Every time i'm trying to use the S-video out of my PB G4 667 Gigabit to put the video on the mentioned tv i'm only getting a short white flash on the tv screen but no video image. The Tibook is somekind not recognizing the tv....
It works with every other tv/beamer i've tried (alot). Just that f*** tv i own doesn't work!
Tried everything i know of. Any help? plz!
Or need more info? just ask!

did you try a different plug? I mean, are you using scart? Or cinch or maybe s-video directly into the tv?

tried 3 different powerbooks with 3 different plugs.
S-Video out on the PB and cinch (that yellow one:) on the TV.
The TV has 2 different AV-in's and should be self -recognizing on which of the inputs data is coming from, and switch between them.
It works with all other video devices i tried (video, dvd player, PS2...)

I am wondering how this auto-adjustment should work. s-video and scart on tv are pure line-in plugs. They don't have any signal-back so the video-device can adjust any kind of video-settings... But did you try to adjust manually?
And one more thing I discovered: when plugging in the video-cable into the tv, I have to change the volume till it sets up the video-out signal. Try changing the volume on your powerbook when plugged to tv... Sounds really strange, but this way it works on my ibook

The auto-adjustment, how you call it, does nothing else but waiting on the two AV inputs of the TV for signals and if a signal is discovered it switches to the appropriate input. I'm unable to switch manually between the inputs.

To me it looks like both devices were waiting for some strange feedback, but none is given...

I already tried changing the sound input. even connected it to my Hi-fi. .)

edit: ah apparently misunderstood you before. yeah tried scart as well as cinch.
