PC/Mac networking

I have 1 iMac running OSX 10.1.5 with 1 ethernet port, 1 laptop running windows 2000 professional with 1 ethernet port and 1 laptop running windows 98 with 1 ethernet port. I would like these to share a cable broadband connection that is currently hooked up to the imac via ethernet (Modem only has one port). Ideally I would like the laptops connected wirelessly, is any of this possible, if so, how???

Probably your simplest course of action is to just buy a WAP with a broadband router. Either a standard 802.11b/g such as Netgear or D-Link (I suggest Netgear) or Apple's Airport base station if you want to go pricier.

I suggest you shy away from Apple's base station because of the price for one and it only has one Ethernet port. If you ever add more computers to your network or want to connect your laptop to wired to copy comes files (which are slow on wireless). You will probably be more satisfied with a standard 802.11b/g WAP broadband router.

I'm guessing these have switches not hubs (someone correct me if I'm wrong):

Hope that helps,

Thanks. I've ordered the 802.11b and got a half price pc card thrown in too!
One more thing although not a big concern, will I be able to print from each computer? Printer is currently connected to the mac via usb.
Cheers
