I have a first generation Powermac G5 dual 2.0 with PCI-X slots.
I currently have the nVidia GeForce FX 5200 64MB installed as the AGP card. I want to upgrade this but dont know much about how to look for a new card, and have tried to find some answers online about AGP vs. PCI-X (not PCI-express) and have come up with nothing concrete.
1. What PCI-X cards are available for my model?
2. Can i use a PCI-X card and also my current AGP card simultaneously, or do i have to choose one or the other?
3. Is it better to just buy a new AGP card instead of PCI-X?
4. Which kind of card - between AGP & PCI-X - is better for Photoshop image processing work? Which is better for motion and video work?
