pcm audio problems

I have a droid phone with VirtualRecorder on it which I use to record lectures. How do I convert the pcm files from this app to mac friendly audio files? I tried Audicity but it doesn't work.

PCM is a generic term for digital audio--presumably uncompressed. Have you tried opening the files with the QuickTime Player? I assume that by Audicity you mean Audacity. That said, it seems that Audacity is more the audio recorder/editor than the converter. If you want to convert audio formats, then try SoundConverter. SoundConverter is no longer a free download and is available, it appears, only through the Mac App Store. However, it explicitly supports files with the .pcm extension.
