When I convert certain word document into PDF (using the print option), the file size of the pdf often exceeds 7 MB (several times greater than the original Word doc). The file size magnification occurs especially when there is even a small jpg file pasted in the Word file. For example, a 244 KB Word document (including a jpg) converts to PDF of 7.2 MB.
Why is that happening? How can I keep the pdf file size small? Or how can I resize it after conversion?
