Hey,
I had the day off of school today so I thought I might as well work on something. So I came up with this concept for a photo editing program in the works. Tell me what you think!

Completely made from scratch in Photoshop.
 
That's a photoshoped film canister? I thought it was real!

You put me to shame every time! As much as I try I can't get things to look real.

Man, I'd love to see how you made that! :p

Yeah, that's nice, Trip. I thought it was a scanned in film cannister till I read what you wrote under it. Good job!
 
Wow. If I look at it closely and scrutinize it, I can see how it is fake... but who wants to do that? :rolleyes:

Call it iPhoto! Wait, that's taken. How about Photoshop? No, that would get paradoxical and hyper-meta. Hmm... iFilm? Wait, that's also taken... So we'll call it Film Lab! And nobody knows what it does! :D

I don't think it would work as an icon as it is, because the reflection blends into the white space which would need to be masked out. Unless you could make the reflection transparent... that would be awesome!
 
Reflections will not be in the final version, that's just for effect of the image. ;)

But yet, I could make the reflection in the final version be transparent and all that. I'll try it out and see what they think.

oh, lol. Yea...

it *shrinks* down nicely to about 28, after that it looks like crap so I'll install a seperate icon for anythign smaller than 28.
