Photoshop CS can't save for web

When I try to Save for Web in Photoshop CS, I get a message saying, "The operation could not be completed because the file could not be found." Nothing I try will get Save for Web to work properly. It was just the other day that I last used it, and it worked fine.

I've searched all over, and can't seem to find a working solution. I've tried running the PSCS installer again, but the problem persists.

Any ideas? It's quite cumbersome having to use ImageReady CS to do the same thing.
 
I have had this happen when I open a file that's uncooperative. Try making a copy of the file and then editing it and saving it for web.
 
The file I use doesn't seem to have an effect. I get the same message for any file at all, even new documents.
 
Have you tried repairing permissions? There might be some internal Photoshop support file that PS needs but can't reach because the permissions are mucked up.
