How do I get this gray border to dissapper?

1 use the color wand, select the grey and press delete.
2 erase it
3 use the paint bucket
or
4 select the image, copy it. make a new image (cmd n). where it says contents click transparent.
get rid of the grey by means 1 2 or 3, and the save for web ->gif. (cmd alt shift s)

Since were asking. How do you permanently get rid of the stupid slice number?

depending on program... either delete the slice, or hide it in your views

in Photoshop i hide the slice numbers all the time. But whenever i open a document it comes back. I wan't to get rid of it forever. Is that possible? I don't have any slices, don't use slices, so i don't want slice numbers anywhere. By default i always have 1. It just started up with PS 7 so i'm guessing its a new feature.
