Please Help!!

I just got a new stick of 512MB RAM for my iBook G4 800MHz to replace the other stick that didn't work, now it won't even read that there was any RAM installed. I really don't want to shop around again. How can I fix this!?
 
If it's a bad stick of ram, it's a bad stick. What manufacturer? Are you buying via mail? If not, take the iBook down and have it installed right on site. If through the mail, check previous threads on some of the better brands that have found to be mostly reliable.

Oh, and make sure it was installed properly first. That might account for nothing showing up as far as an increase.
 
I remember a previous post of someone (might have been you) talking about his ram probs. I posted a list of good ram brands. Take a look at that list using search on Samsung&Crosair
