Hi, i have a similair question, as the previous thread, but than specifically for RemoteDesktop. I want to be able to connect to my computer at home whith RD.
I actually have a hardware-router, and i know how to forward ports on it, but what port does RD use?
I found something that said it is port 3283, but i can't get that to work.
And another thing; my ISP doesn't give me a static IP, so if the connection at home dropes for some reason, the IP changes. How can i remotely discover the IP at home? Or is there a way to write a script that posts the ip to a website or mail it to me?
The router is a com21.
Thanks
arjen
