Possible processor problem?

Hello.

I'm new to the forums. I have a MacBook (13-inch Late 2007). In the past weeks I noticed an increase fan noise when the computer was idle and a burnt smell.

So I took my MB to an Apple Authorized Service Center and they told me it was dust and lack of maintenance. After getting back my MB fan was not making too much noises like the last time but still it wasn't like before. The burnt smell was still present but in a lesser degree.

I was monitoring my internal temperature and fan speed since I believed I had fan issues I got almost all time 45 - 50 ºC with 1800rpm when iddle. I was still testing my MB and decided to play World of Warcraft and after an hour of playtime an excessive noise came from which I believe is the fan and it heated a lot faster. I turned off the computer and turned on after letting it cool down. I tried playing again and after 10 min or so the noise appeared again and again one last time the next morning.

So I experimented with SMCfancontrol to see if the fan was involved. After putting 6200 rpm for about 10 min the problem appeared again and I notice that when the fan began to make the excessive noise it also decreased the speed with a lowest point of 1500 -1600 rpm. I called the Service Cented again and explain what happened and they told me that it was an overheating problem and not a fan one and that my processor is damaged probably due the dust I had accumulated. I have my doubts.

I searched the web a couple days with no luck finding a similar issue, so I was hoping you guys have an idea of what's going on. Any ideas?

Should I have to get a second oppinion?

Sorry for the bad grammar, english is not my main language.
