postscript fonts.....a no go

My postscript fonts have just gone bad. After 4 months of using them every day with Suitcase now today they don't want to display. Every user is like that also...even when i create a new user.

I've taken them out of suitcase and put the files directly into the library/fonts folder and still a no go. Does anyone have any idea why and how i can fix this??

I had an issue like that--scared the bejeezus outta me as I *depend* on my fonts to do my work.

I tinkered and tinkered and tinkered. Then, I restarted. Everything was A-OK when OS X came back up.

You'll probably have done a restart by the time you read this, but if you haven't give it a go.
