Hi, I bought my Power Book G4 1.33ghz 15" in the summer of 2004. My machine was working fine, when i accidentally left it in sleep mode for about a week. When I returned to the laptop, it would not turn on, instead, it would show me a white screen that would fuse into a dark purple shade, and would end on a black screen with vertical colored lines going across the screen. The caps lock button lights up, but when inserting a cd , it is not automatically accepted. I have tried restarting the pram but that doesn't do anything. I can hear something spinning however the computer doesn't seem to start up. A few months ago I bought a new battery so I know it has nothing to do with that. Basically when I push the power button, i get no "on sound" or anything "mac-like" just the colors across my screen. I figured that it couldn't be my screen because my cd drive doesnt even accept cds so it must be something beyond that. Please Help! (I have a video of my machine starting up to show you what im talking about if needed) Thank You!
