power usage

Might seem like a small issue but I recently bought a dp 867 powermac and I was wondering how mmuch electricity it uses. I got a big electricity bill last week and I can't account for amount. The powermac makes quite a racket, with fans constanlty turning and so on but I do use it a lot and rarely shut it down (sleeps at night if it isn't busy rendering). I previously owned a powerbook and a dell dual processor workstation but never had equivalent bills. Any information appreciated!

And download the speicifcation sheet. That will tell you the power usage. From my references it uses 338 watts.

Was it a big bill or a large usage? Have you gotten anything new in your home? An air filter or fan? Check your refrigerator or if you have a freezer. When those go, they are constantly on and you don't realize it.
