I have done loads of research and have decided it is, in fact the PRAM battery that needs to be replaced (my date and time etc keep being lost), have found the part number (922-5767) I require and have found a few items for sale on the likes of eBay.
My questions are:
1. Is there no where in the UK that sells these items? I can only find them in the US. I have found ONE seller in the UK so far.
2. Do I really need to buy the whole unit - can I not just buy the battery itself?
3. The one I have found on eBay (inserting link - it may be out of date by the time you read this) indicates that there are PRAM batteries and USB units to be purchased and the diagram I found of the exploded inside of a Powerbook told me there ARE units and told me the part number. However, a UK based company I have just found says that G4 Powerbooks don't have batteries. . .
I am seriously confused now. Can someone please just point at one and say BUY THIS AND STOP WASTING YOUR TIME ON THE INTERNET.
