Powerbook g3 (pismo) won't start up after installing ram

If anyone can lend some advice it would be gratly appreciated!!!

I tried to install a 512mbs of ram in the lower slot Powerbook g3 (pismo).
i followed the instructions carefully from apple's site.

i finished, put everyting back in place, and tried to start up but i would not.
i placed the original ram back in its slots and it still will not start up.
i noticed that once during all of my attempts to start up that the green lights
on the battery appearred to light up for about 30 seconds then went out.
????
help.

Hey, a friend of mine had this problem once. As it turned out he hadn't seeded the daughter card back into the logic board correctly... the system didn't see any RAM or processor to work with.

Best way to test if the card is in is to see how hard it is to pull it out. If it comes out easily then it wasn't all the way in to begin with.
