Powerbook G4 Fatal error

Hello, i currently have a powerbook G4 12" laptop computer and i am experiencing issues. it worked perfectly for as long as ive owned it until today it started making a weird noise when the power is on and i move around the laptop, it seems that something is broken inside. And it wont load the OS, it gets stuck on the white apple loading screen until i press the power button.

Note: this laptop hasnt suffered any physical damage (punches falls or anything you can imagine).

Please this is an emergency, i need to get it fixed asap. THANKS!
 
It sounds like your hard drive may have failed or been comprised in some other way. My first assumption was a faulty fan, but that wouldn't cause your PowerBook to not load the OS. You could diagnose this idea by trying to boot from the install CD or an external hard drive.

Your hard drive failing is a terrible thing, but if that's the case, I sincerely hope you have a backup.

I'm not sure what else to assume, because the only moving parts in your laptop are fans, the CD drive, and the hard drive.
 
Definitely try booting from the installation medium (DVD or CD) and try the Disk Utility.
