I'm using a Powerbook G4 12" (1.33ghz/1.25gbRAM/80gigHD/Tiger10.4.7).

recently when on a cleaning/utilities kick. I ran Onyx, repaired permisions, ran DiscWarrior, ran SpeedTools, etc.
SpeedTools told me that there are a lot of trashed sectors on my harddrive. It would have taken hours and hours to detect all of them, ask me to fix them and do so. So, I fixed maybe 20 and left the rest.
While backing up my music collection, I found that about 20 songs were corrupted in some way that they could not be copied to my Firewire Drive (both manually and with Phew)
-
So, after all this, I startup my computer, and bam, no sound. It makes the "dingggg" at the beginning, but after that, my computer does not see my internal soundcard. Audio+MIDI prefs don't show it. It is however showing up in the System Profiler.
I have no Tiger disc, so I can't do an archive an reinstall and I can't run the hardware check.
What can I do?
