PowerPC vs Intel iMovie 08 Render times

I own a dual 2GHz PowerPC PowerMac and would like to know if anyone has tested a similar dual PowerPC Mac's iMovie 08 Render time vs that of an intel Core2 Duo Mac's iMovie 08 Render time for the same movie.

I really want to know if there is a significant reduction in render times with the Intel Mac's. If they save a half hour, then it isn't a big deal, but if they significantly cut the render time then I want to know.

Has anyone tested this or know of a website that has tested this with results I can look at?

Its a bit old, but http://www.barefeats.com/quad06.html should help you out. Just thought I'd mention that those results should apply to the iMacs too, since the Core 2 Duos used in the iMacs are the successors to the Xeon used in the Mac Pros.
