PPP callback from AS5300

Hi,

i'm OSX newbie with a nice Panther mac.
I tried to use the embedded dialup prog (Internet connection) in my Panther and hook up to an cisco As5300 configured for callback.
My problem is that the dialup prog does not handshake the callback and i'm normally connected as dialup from my mac.(I do not find any preference to require callback on client side (mac)).
Instead if i use a M$ machine i'm normally get "callback" from the as5300.

Does anybody have the same problem??

If you can get a "debug ppp neg" from the AS5300, I might be able to tell what's not being ACKed.

i will post the debug asap. Thanks for the reply.
I just wonder why i don't even have the window that ask me for the callback number while in Windows i normally have it and get the callback successfully.
I also wonder if somebody had a same problem or has tried to use this kind of dialup connection (with callback from 5300 using the "Internet Connection client " ) with panther.

Hello,

even if somebody don't have the solution i wonder if there's anybody that can do a succesfull connection with callback from a cisco device using the normal dialup client provided from Macosx 10.3.
