I now have an Intel mac mini (OS 10.6.2) and my old pre-Intel mac mini (OS 10.4.11).
1) Is there a way of setting up the pre-Intel mini to serve as a local server to learn and develop WordPress websites?
2) How would I "connect" the pre-Intel to my current mini?
3) Could I then upload from the pre-Intel to my web host service (DreamHost)?
Background: I know nothing about WordPress yet, but the only way to do so is to jump in.
Warning: a true newbie when dealing under the hood of my Mac. I have this fear that I will be required to access an administrative area of my system and accidentally wipe out everything.
