Preview and command-G search next

I'm wondering if it is just me. Command-F does a search. Command-G is suppose to search next. It just kinda makes Preview quiver and shake. Sometimes is searches forward one or two and then loops around. Other times, Cap-Command-G works fine (backward search) while forward is broken. Other times they are both broken.

I searched and did not find others talking about it. Its just totally broken... doesn't anyone else but me care? Or, do I have something set up funny?

Thanks,

Someone asked me to post steps to recreate this. It is hard to do so this may not happen all the time but it seems to be a quick way to make it happen for me.

1) Download this Power Instruction Set Architecture Version 2.06 If you want to see what you are downloading before you click, it is coming from this page: Power Org Reading Resources

2) Open it in Preview. I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8, Preview Version 4.2 (469.5) I have mine set so the right bar opens as a table of contents (seems like that is configurable but I may be confused).

3) Click on the "Book 1: Power ISA User Instruction Set Architecture" in the right hand column to go to that point in the book.

4) Now click in the search box and type "interr" (a prefix of interrupt). Wait for the spinning circle to stop.

5) Now hit command-G about four times. It will walk down from hit to hit until about the fourth hit. Notice the highlight in the right bar disappears. The next command-G takes you to the first hit. You will cycle around like this forever.
