print image index

hello,

i have a question. hope there is one who can help me.

i have a lot of images. and now i want it printed on a DIN A4 paper.
but not only one picture. eg 12 pics per page.

i searched for programms but i have not found the right one.

is it possible to do that with finder?
i tried the option slideshow of ctrl - klick menü. quite nice
but i dont need a black background. and i need the image numbers.

it would be great if the bridge of CS2 have any option to print.
and a scrren shot doesnt help cause i have about 100 pics

are you running os x? if so, use iphoto. you can set the print setup to A4 paper, and then select n-up ( i think ) or something like that and tell it to put 12 photos per page, makeing sure that the one photo per page is not checked. it will even tell you how many pages it needs to print all the pics. i do it all the time.
