Printer Server and Mac

I have my Canon i9900 connected to a Linksys WPS54GU2 Print Server--I have had no issues using this setup with my PC. However, when I received my MacBook Pro last week I was unable to get the printer connected appropriately. The Printer Utility "sees it" when I use IP Printer, but the correct Canon model driver does not display in the list--only the GIMP drivers which does not include one for the i9900. Of course, when I connect the printer directly to the Mac it works without me doing a darn thing, but I need to get it working with the Print Server. I'm sure it's just something silly that I'm missing.

BTW: I've also enabled AppleTalk on the Print Server and on the Network Settings on the Mac, but when I try AppleTalk in the Print Utility no printers come up.

Grrrr! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
